Our Puppy…little “Prugna” !

Finalmente…sono felicissima di presentarvi la nostra cucciolotta Prugna !
Che ne dite, vi piace?
Questa frugoletta è così dolce, affettuosa, sempre pronta a giocare e, devo ammettere, anche parecchio sveglia / furbetta…noi siamo tutti pazzi per lei, in particolare io (se ci fossero stati dubbi a riguardo ! :-) )
L’abbiamo incontrata in occasione di una visita, per nulla pianificata, ad una conoscente che stava gestendo una cucciolata di ben nove cagnolini…beh, inutile dire che è stato amore a prima vista, in due secondi avevamo già realizzato che quel bel fagottino ce lo saremo portati a casa e che avrebbe fatto parte della nostra vita !
Prugna gioca un po’ con tutto, si diverte molto con le foglie, le farfalle e tutto ciò che vola; in alcune occasioni si rivela anche parecchio “giamburrasca” scavando grosse buche in giardino….ma come non perdonarla quando ti si presenta davanti con quel nasetto tutto imbrattato di terra in cerca di una coccola e di uno sguardo clemente????!!
La cosa che ama di più è però, quella di raggomitolarsi sulle nostre ginocchia e dormicchiare…una vera goduria per lei e per chi la tiene !
Inutile dirvi quanta gioia e quanto amore questa cagnolina abbia portato nella nostra vita !!!

I’m very happy to introduce you our family puppy Prugna (as you already know the translation of the name is “Plum” as the fruit! :-))…tell me, do you like her?
She’s so sweet, loving, playful, quick and loyal… we all completely adore her, especially me (in the case if you have doubts ! :-)
When we met Prugna it was love at first sight and we understood immediately she was the puppy for us….she was almost 2 months old when we decided to bring her at home and to take care of her.
She enjoys playing with leaves, butterflies and everything is flying… sometimes she likes also to dig holes in the yard, in these occasions she’s a little rogue …but we love her anyway !
She adores kisses and cuddles and her favourite thing of all is to curl up on your lap and have a sleep…I’m sure she adds so much fun and love to our lives !

Cross stitching and tea time

E’ venuto il tempo di intervenire su un paio di asciugamani che da tempo attendevano di essere personalizzati…ho pensato all'Amore della mia vita ricamando a punto croce con filo blue notte la sua iniziale…minimale e monocolore : il risultato mi piace proprio x la sua semplicità !
Che ne dite? Consigli e suggerimenti sono benvenuti !
Inutile dire che per i monogrammi ho un debole...sarà il fascino del passato (la tradizione risale al ben lontano 19° secolo!), sarà il fatto di dedicare in forma esclusiva un qualcosa a specifiche persone, ma questa storia mi prende molto!
Con una bella tazza di Gunpowder tea, qualche biscottino e in compagnia della nostra dolce cucciolotta Prugna, che dormicchiava sui miei piedi, mi son goduta queste belle ore !!!

It was the right time to do something for a pair of bath towels waiting to be personalized so I decided to embroider the single initial monogram of the Love of my life with a dark blue thread; the result is an example of minimal style and I really like it for its simplicity…it’s so cosy too !
What do you think about it? Any suggest?
I love monograms and their old traditions date back to the 19th and Early 20th Centuries.
I enjoyed my stitching time with a good cup of Gunpowder green tea and some biscuits while our sweet puppy Prugna (the translation of the name is “Plum”, as the fruit !) was sleeping on my feet…great moments !!!

Heart and Autumn coming...

Buon lunedì !!!
L’autunno sembra essere alle porte ed io ne sono contenta...l’estate è stata calda, piena e ora mi piace godermi il tempo dei raccolti, la vendemmia, la natura che si accende di caldi colori, le temperature che si rinfrescano, la pioggia e il ritornare ad una dimensione interna della casa !
E anche questo week end è volato !!!
Tra mille cosette da rincorrere sono riuscita a finire un cuore stile “Tilda”, rivisitato e personalizzato nei miei colori preferiti.
Adoro le creazioni di Tone Finnanger, adoro i cuori e il loro significato e mi piace il suono della parola “bonheur” e ovviamente il suo significato !
Bonheur a tutti coloro che passeranno a trovarmi e in particolare a Maria, carinissimo incontro finlandese !

Good Monday !
Autumn is coming and I’m very happy about it…this summer was cold and long and now I like to enjoy harvest time, apples and pumpkins time, the nature with its warm and charming tints, chilly temperature, the rain and also I like to spend some more time inside my home…
Also this week end has gone away !!!
I had a lot of things to do, anyway I found the time to make a personalized Tilda’s heart style in my favourite colours, white/beige/cream tones to hang to a door handle…what do you think about it?
I love Tone Finnanger’ s creations, I'm mad about hearts and their meaning and I like the french word “Bonheur”…its sound and of course its meaning!
Bonheur to everybody will visit me and in a special way to Maria, a sweet and kind Lady from Finland!
